Alongside our nomination for Design of The Year, the NASC also hosted ScaffEx24, a trailblazing Scaffolding and Access Conference. The event took place throughout the day, leading up to the evening’s presentations. This was the first of its kind for the NASC, and the event is poised to become the UK’s premier annual scaffolding event.
At Buckley Designs, we felt that being a part of this was an unmissable opportunity to showcase our work and network with industry leaders, influencers, and decision makers alike. In preparation for the Expo, we arranged for a 3D model of our design at Blackburn College to be printed, which complemented our 2D and 3D drawings printed on A1. The model took centre stage and was an exceptional piece, receiving plenty of attention and highly commendable praise from all who saw it. It truly showcased the challenges faced in designing the temporary roof and how we overcame each one. It was a great talking point, and a design that we are all extremely proud of, here at Buckley Designs.
Due to the unprecedented success of ScaffEx24 Belfast 2024, the NASC has announced that this year’s Expo, which is due to be held in Manchester on 11th and 12th September, will be over double in size, with organisers expecting more than 3,000 industry professionals to attend. ScaffEx24 Belfast was a great success, and we are pleased to announce that we will be returning to ScaffEx24 2025 Manchester to further showcase our designs and dedication to becoming an industry leader in scaffold design. We hope to see you there!
